The "Wandering West" 2009 Australian Championship 2009 hosted by the Western Australian Rogaining Association (WARA) was held near Brookton on 6/7 June about 100km SE of Perth.

2009 Australian Championship - Western Australia

Western Australia hosts the 2009 Australian Championship on 6-7 June which coincides with the Queen's Birthday long weekend in the eastern states. The "Wandering West Rogaine" will be held 100km south east of Perth. Further details and entries on the WARA event website.

The Australian University Championship will be held on 1-2 August 2009 in conjunction with the ACT Rogaining Championship.

2010 World Rogaine Champs

New Zealand will be running the next World Rogaining Championships. The event is planned for 20-21 November 2010, and will be held in open hill country near the town of Cheviot, 120 km north of Christchurch. NZRA website.

2008 Australian Rogaining Championship Results

The 2008 Australian Rogaine Championships were run at Copeton Waters in northern NSW on August 15 & 16.

Overall winners and first mixed team were David Baldwin, Julie Quinn (ACT) and Phil Whitten (NSW) who visited all controls in 22:12. Second place and first mens team was Stu Adams and Mike Hotchkis (NSW) who also cleaned up in 22:59. Third place was Greig Hamilton and Robert Jarvis (NZ) who also got all controls in 23:44. Womens winners were Belinda Bright, Gill Fowler and Alexa McAuley (NSW).

NSW won the Interstate Challenge trophy.
